Now school is on the way, local kids must have places

The Lib Dems have led the argument on the need for a new school in North Kensington

When the Council finally builds the new secondary school in North Kensington, local children should be given first priority for admission, says Carol Caruana, the Liberal Democrat FOCUS Team candidate for the 22nd July Colville by-election.

"Parents should be able to choose the school and not the other way round. The school must not be allowed to pick and choose pupils from outside the area. We are short of school spaces here. It is vital that this is a nondenominational school which caters to ALL our diverse local communities," said Carol.
